If you're planning to have a kid, then Obamacare (i.e. the Affordable Care Act) is awesome for you, IF your health insurance policy honors it, or is grandfathered in. Here's what's now covered at 100%:
- Breast pumps. The best we found was the Medela Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump, and it was covered! If you live in Chicagoland, you can get one from Mark Drug Medical Supply (product link here).
- Well baby visits to the pediatrician
- Specific types of consultants that you may need to tap during and after pregnancy
